The Edelbrock #1493 throttle cable plate kit was designed for 351C 351M/400 Fords with cable activated throttle and automatic transmission kickdown rods. The Edelbrock #1493 throttle cable plate kit repositions the stock throttle cable bracket to align with the Edelbrock carburetor throttle arm. Use with Edelbrock throttle lever adapter #1483 and stock cable bracket when necessary. Available in Gold iridited finish. Edelbrock throttle cable plate kits only work when the throttle bracket is mounted to the intake.
