Proforged Brake Proportioning Valve The Chevy B-Body had drum brakes from 1977-93 - disc brakes were introduced to the platform in 1994, but GM kept same brake proportioning valve, and as a result the rear brakes are greatly underutilized on the Impala SS and Caprice.
